On 06-25-15 at 2314 hours, Deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of East Sutter in Earlimart (Earlimart Middle School) regarding a Grand Theft. The reporting party advised he observed a small black truck pulling a trailer loaded with trees on school grounds. 

Deputies arrived and observed the gate to the school to be open, but the truck and trailer were gone. Deputies searched the Earlimart area and located the truck and trailer near Center and Market Street. They located 19 trees that were stolen from the school along with 2 stolen trailers. The stolen items were valued at $4,900 with a full recovery. The suspect was located hiding in the alley a short time later. He was arrested and booked without incident.
