On Thursday, August 29, 2019 at approximately 1031 hours Deputies from the Cutler-Orosi Substation were dispatched to the 38700 block of Road 140 in Cutler, regarding a home invasion.  Upon arrival, Deputies identified two victims. The victims reported they had been confronted by a total of four to five masked suspects who forced their way into their residence.  At least two of the suspects were said to be armed with firearms.   During the incident, one of the victims sustained a minor injury to the right side of his temple after he was struck with the barrel of a rifle.  He was treated by EMS at the scene and did not require any other medical treatment.  The suspects were able to access the interior and exterior areas of the property and were said to have fled the scene with several marijuana plants that were growing in the back yard.  The victims estimated a property loss of $560.  The identity of the suspects remains unknown at this time.
