On 07-19-18 at 0700 hours, after a week-long investigation, Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s TAGNET (Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team) and TAGNET Majors executed a search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of First Street, in Exeter.
After further investigation, Tulare County T.A.G.N.E.T. and T.AG.N.E.T. Majors responded and executed an additional search warrant on the 1900 block of North Virginia Avenue, in Farmersville.
This investigation was a result of suspect Maribel Jimenez smuggling illegal narcotics into a Detention Facility within the Tulare County Detention facilities over the past weekend which was intended to be delivered to Suspect Crescencio Jimenez who is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges.
While at the residence, Detectives conducted a search and located drug paraphernalia related to methamphetamine.
Suspect Maribel Jimenez was taken into custody for importing narcotics into a Detention Facility and booked at the Adult Pre-Trial Facility without incident. Suspect Crescencio Jimenez was also charged with new charges which included Importing Narcotics into a County Jail and Conspiracy to Commit a Crime.
