On 04/06/2018 at 1407 hours Deputies contacted an electrical engineer in the 1100 Block of Ave. 16 in Earlimart who reported arriving at the crime scene location to make repairs on a radio tower. The electrician visually inspected the scene, and discovered someone had stolen several hundred feet of copper wire. The estimated property loss was approximately $2,861. In addition to what was taken, approximately $1,500 of labor was required to fix the damages. No suspects have been identified in this case.
