On 10-24-2018 at 0700 hours, Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department TAGNET Majors served a search warrant at a residence in the 39000 block of Rd. 172, Seville. While Detectives were conducting their investigation they observed an illegal cultivation of marijuana garden within the property. They also found sealed and packaged boxes containing several packages of processed marijuana along with a large amount of counterfeit money. Detectives also located and seized a total of $4,724.00 in U.S. Currency.
As Detectives continued their investigation, one subject was located in the residence and was later taken into custody for the above listed charges along with an active felony arrest warrant from Madera County for Possession of Marijuana for sales. He was transported to Pre-Trial where he was booked and later housed.
A total of 226 marijuana plants, 53 lbs. of processed marijuana and 43 lbs. of semi-processed marijuana were located, eradicated and destroyed.
