On Sat, 9-23-17 at 0905, Tulare County Fire was dispatched to the 2000 block of Pacific Avenue for a residential structure fire. When Fire personnel arrived, they contacted four male subjects in front of the residence, all of whom had severe burns covering their body.
One subject was airlifted and the remaining 3 subjects were transported by ambulance to Community Regional Medical Center, Fresno.
When Fire personnel began to extinguish the residential fire; they discovered evidence of an illegal honey oil production lab. Tulare County Fire notified the Sheriff’s Office who initiated an investigation. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Investigations and Crime Lab responded to the scene.
Additional agencies were requested that included the Tulare County Fire Investigations, the Central Valley High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area and the California Department of Justice Bureau of Forensic Services.
The four male subjects remain in critical condition at CRMC Fresno burn unit. No arrests have been made at this time.
