Members of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Tactical Enforcement Personnel Unit (STEP) and other Deputies conducted a marijuana eradication operation in the foothills of Three Rivers and Badger. The operations began on Monday, Aug. 15, 2016 and ended on Wednesday, Aug 17, 2016.

During the operation, two large illegal marijuana grow sites were removed from the Mineral King and South Fork areas resulting in the eradication of over 10,000 and 18,000 plants, respectively.

On Wednesday, Detectives removed more than 27,000 plants from illegal grows in the Badger area. The estimated street value of the combined grows was in excess of $10,000,000.
