3056 PC Parole Hold.
On the above date and time, Tulare County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Porterville Substation responded to a residence on the 400 block of West Center Avenue in Porterville to contact Jennifer Hines regarding a confirmed active warrant for her arrest.
Upon arrival at the residence, a male, who identified himself as Paul Knight, was located outside and detained. Knight was found to be a wanted parolee with an active 3056 PC Parole Hold and determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
Hines, along with Jesus Alcarez, Denise Rodriguez and Jacqueline Samaras were located inside the residence and detained. While detaining the above individuals, deputies observed narcotics, narcotics paraphernalia and an illegal sawed off shotgun in plain view.
A search warrant was obtained and served on the residence. As a result of the search warrant, approximately 8.9 grams of methamphetamine, narcotics paraphernalia, items consistent with the sales of narcotics, illegally possessed prescription medication and the sawed off shotgun were located.
Alcarez and Knight were arrested on the above charges and booked at the Porterville Substation. Hines, Rodriguez and Samaras were arrested on the above charges and booked at the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility.
This case is currently under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff's Department.
