On 09-04-2018 at 8 a.m., Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office TAGNET (Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team) and TAGNET Majors met with members from Resource Management Agency (Code Compliance Unit) regarding nine civil abatement warrants in the community of Ivanhoe. While assisting Resource Management Agency, Detectives found several illegal marijuana gardens within the following locations:
15000 blk. of Jasmine Ave.
32000 blk. of Rd. 160
15000 blk. of Beechwood Ave.
32000 blk. of Rd. 158, Ivanhoe
In addition to the nine civil abatement warrants, Code Compliance Officers, with the assistance of Detectives from TAGNET and TAGNET Majors, made contact at a home in the 15000 block of Ave. 328 in Ivanhoe regarding marijuana compliance issues. People living at this home asked officers to remove the marijuana and destroy it for them.
Detectives were able to locate and destroy more than 1,600 illegal plants.
