Nearly 4,000 Pot Plants Pulled From Illegal Grows in Badger

On 09/18/18 at approximately 8 a.m., Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office TAGNET (Tulare Area Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team), TAGNET Majors and Tulare County Resource Management Agency Code Compliance Staff conducted marijuana code enforcement operations in the Badger area.  Several large illegal outdoor marijuana grows were located on several properties in the area.  Two of the properties found during this operation were contacted earlier in the year with illegal marijuana grows, which were also eradicated at that time.

During the operation of eradicating the illegal grow sites, Detectives located large amounts of trash, as well as several containers of pesticides scattered throughout the properties.  Detectives removed and destroyed more than 3,700 marijuana plants.

Anyone with more information regarding illegal marijuana cultivation is urged to contact the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department via telephone at (559) 733-6218 or anonymously at tcso@tipnow.com or by text or voicemail at #559-725-4194.
