On 02-09-17, Deputies were dispatched to a report of trespassing with shots fired. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 1900 hours, Victim 1 observed multiple suspect(s) checking the exterior of his mother’s abandoned residence with flashlights.

Victim 1’s residence was found to be approximately 150 yards away from his mother’s abandoned residence. Victim 1 entered his vehicle and attempted to confront the unknown suspect(s) on the property. When the suspect(s) observed Victim 1 approaching, an unknown male suspect ran to the passenger seat of a parked silver/grey SUV-type vehicle. The SUV left the scene at a high rate of speed however not before firing approximately two rounds. It is unknown if the shots were intended for Victim 1 or if it was an attempt to deter Victim 1 from confronting them. Evidence was collected on scene and this case is actively being investigated.
