Not-So-Lucky Robber Drops Case of Lottery Tickets As He Tries to Run Off With Them

    

On January 5, 2019 Deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office were called to an attempted theft of lottery tickets at a convenience store located on County Line Road in Delano. When they arrived, the store clerk told Deputies that a man came in and tried to steal a display case containing lottery tickets. The clerk said, as the man was running out of the store, he hit the door and dropped the display case. 

During the investigation, witnesses said the suspect got into a late model white Chevy Impala with "CarMax" paper plates. The suspect is described as a black male, between 18-25 years old.
