Wednesday, 09.09.2015, 0351 hours, Deputies were dispatched to the 32000 block of Road 156, Ivanhoe, regarding a possible prowler call.  Upon the deputies arriving, an adult male identified as Luis Thompson, 33yrs, was contacted in a parked vehicle.  Thompson displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance and recognized as being a convicted felon.  Further investigation lead to the discovery of a concealed firearm and a usable quantity of methamphetamine.  Thompson was arrested and booked into the Pre-Trial facility.   The case is currently under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
