On Thursday 05/19/2016, the Interagency Gang Enforcement Team and the Gang Violence Suppression Unit, with the assistance of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Special Services Unit & Parole, TARGET and Tulare County Probation Department, conducted Parole and Probation compliance checks of known gang members in the communities of Exeter, Farmersville, Ivanhoe and Woodlake in an effort to combat gang violence with a zero tolerance for gang activities and made the following arrests:
16- 80048 05/19/16 1330 hours 1800 Blk of S. Peppertree Visalia, Ca. Suspect #1: Jared King MW/ 37 Yrs Visalia, Ca
On listed date and time Jared King was contacted by gang investigators during a Parole Compliance check and was found not to be in compliance with his terms and conditions of Parole. King Is a wanted Parolee at Large from the State of Arkansas and had an active felony arrest warrant for absconding from Arkansas Parole. The warrant was confirmed and King was arrested without incident and booked at the APTF.
One (1) additional arrest for a subject who was under the influence of a controlled substance.
Two (2) arrests for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine.
Three (3) arrests for possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
Twelve (12) Gang field interviews were conducted and recorded.
One (1) miscellaneous misdemeanor arrest warrant was served on a known gang member.
Six (6) Felony warrants for various felony charges were served on known gang members.
In all 30 compliance checks were conducted.

The Interagency Gang Enforcement Team (IGET) is made up of investigators from the Exeter and Farmersville Police Departments along with Investigators from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office. It is funded by a grant from the Byrnes Justice Assistance Grant/ Closing the Circle Program.
