Suspect: Carlos Ruben Chavez   (23 years)

Address: Teviston, Ca

On 6-5-15 at approx. 2000 hours, Detectives from TCSO Gang Violence Suppression Unit attempted contact with (S) Chavez, regarding (2) active Arrest Warrants and a Parole Violation.  Detectives received information that earlier in the day Pixley Patrol Deputies attempted contact with the (S) and he fled on foot and was not apprehended.  

GVSU Detectives arrived at (S) residence and located him inside.  (S) Chavez gave a brief struggle but was ultimately taken into custody.  (S) Chavez was transported to Porterville substations for booking on the following charges: PC-3056 Parole Violation; PC-148- Resisting Arrest; (1) Misd Warrant and (1) Felony Warrant, both out of Tulare County Superior Court.
