On 03/27/17 at approximately 1330 hours, Deputies from the Sheriff’s Pixley Substation responded to Basic Industries, Co., in Pixley, regarding a forged/fraudulent check being passed.  Upon arrival, Deputies learned that on 03/07/17 between 1200 and 1700 hours, a suspect had entered the business and used a forged/fraudulent check to obtain $1,702.44 worth of merchandise.
