On 2/7/2014 at 1930 hours deputies responded to the 1300 block of Avenue 392 regarding a report of a family disturbance. The victim reported that Frederick Gomez threatened to attack her with a machete while he was holding the knife in his hand. Gomez was also in violation of an active restraining order by being in the presence of the victim. At the time of his arrest Gomez was found in possession of drug paraphernalia and was suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance.

The case is currently under investigation by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
