On 12-8-19, TCSO Deputies were called to the 800 Block of Compton Avenue in Pixley for an attempted assault with a car. Deputies were told the suspect’s car veered off the roadway into the path of the victim, who was walking back to his house.

During the investigation, the suspect was identified as 30-year-old Maribel Villegas, who is the victim’s brother’s girlfriend and also lives at the same house as the victim. Villegas was arrested and taken to the South County Detention Facility for attempted assault with a deadly weapon.
