Porterville Man Arrested for Lewd Acts Upon a Child

On 9/16/19, the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested 20-year-old Luis Bernal of Porterville for lewd acts upon a child under the age of 14. 

Detectives were made aware of the incident on September 4, 2019 by Tulare County Child Welfare Services. During the investigation, Detectives discovered the incidents occurred between 2015-2017 in Porterville area. 

Luis Bernal was contacted, arrested and booked at the Porterville Substation for lewd acts upon a child 14 years or younger. His bail is set at $1,300,000.00.
