Suspect:  Carlos Calderon, 52 years old, resident of Delano, CA.

On 1-16-15 at 1653 hours TCSO Deputies assisted Private Investigators from Pacific Resource Investigative Services (PRIS) who are contracted by the Recording Industry of America to conduct investigations regarding pirated DVD movies and audio recordings being sold illegally. 

During the investigation, Deputies worked with undercover PRIS investigators who contacted a suspect identified as Carlos Calderon in Earlimart where he was found selling pirated music CD’s and video DVD's in violation of Penal Code 653w(a)(1).  After being detained, the suspect confirmed selling pirated movies, and music CD’s.  Through the investigation, Deputies seized approximately 1,100 DVD’s & CD’s from this location worth an estimated value of $2,000. The suspect was arrested without incident, and later booked at Pre-Trial in Visalia.
