Deputies were circulating the area of Terra Bella and Maple, in Pixley, for a subject that fled from a burning vehicle on School and Court. A Deputy saw a subject identified as Salvador Gonzalez, Jr., walking into the Terra Bella Apartment Complex, on the 700 block of East Terra Bella Avenue. The Deputy contacted Gonzalez and searched Gonzalez, Jr., and found a concealed machete in his possession.

He was arrested for possession of a dangerous concealed weapon. Gonzalez, Jr., was transported to the Porterville Jail.
