Possession of a Controlled Substance for sale, Maintaining a residence for narcotic sales, Possession of a Controlled Substance for sale While armed with a Loaded Firearm

Narrative:                      

 

On Thursday 4-11-2019, Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department T.A.G.N.E.T. (Tulare Area Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team) served a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 30900 block of Commercial Rd in Goshen. The search warrant was served after an investigation was conducted regarding the sales of illegal narcotics at this location.  Detectives seized approximately 2 pounds of cocaine.

 

Detectives arrested 30 year old Nicolas Casillas and 22 year old Erick Alvarez from Goshen. They were booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility of the following charges, 11351 H&S: Possession of a controlled substance for sale, 11370.1 H&S: Possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm, and 11366 H&S: Maintaining a residence for narcotic sales
