Narrative:

On 04-15-18, a confidential victim responded to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office and reported a sexual assault and criminal threats. Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office assumed the investigation and were able to identify the suspect as Jorge Esquivel. 

As a result of the investigation, Detectives obtained a search warrant for Esquivel’s residence in the town of Ivanhoe. During the execution of the search warrant, Esquivel was contacted at the residence and found to be in possession of a loaded firearm in public. Detectives also located additional firearms and ammunition inside the residence, including an assault rifle and high capacity magazine.

Jorge Esquivel was arrested without incident and booked at the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility.
