On 2-16-2016 at 0109 hours, Deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Pixley Substation conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation.  Upon contacting the driver, he was found to be driving on a suspended license and displaying signs and symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance, both of which were violating his terms of probation. 

The driver was subsequently arrested. During a search of  his vehicle, a small amount of kief was located inside the vehicle along with small amounts of marijuana.  The driver was transported and booked into a nearby correctional facility and then found to be in possession of an additional bindle of kief.  The driver was booked without incident.
