On 08/22/2016 at 0205 hours, a Deputy conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the 19800 block of Orange Belt Drive, in Strathmore, for an equipment violation. During the course of the investigation, the Deputy located an open container of an alcoholic beverage, a few ounces of marijuana, several grams of methamphetamine, a scale, and packaging material. The suspect was arrested and booked at the Porterville Sub Station.

Suspect: Roberto Torrez from Lindsay, CA, approximately 55 years of age
