Possession of narcotics for sale, Being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm

The Tulare County Sheriff’s Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team (TAGNET) completed a several week investigation regarding the sales of narcotics in the community of Earlimart. A search warrant was served in the 600 block of north Market Street on April 25, 2018.

 

As a result of the search warrant, Detectives located and seized just over a pound of methamphetamines and cocaine, along with 3 pounds of processed marijuana and packaging materials. The suspect, who is a prior convicted felon, was in illegal possession of two firearms which were also seized. 

 

Tulare County Sheriff Detectives arrested Armando Mendez, Jr., 27, of Earlimart. He was booked into the Adult Pre-Trial Facility. His bail is set at $250,000.
