Detectives from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Property Crimes Unit followed up on a burglary investigation, which initially took place on 02-14-18.  During the investigation, Detectives were able to get information, which led to the service of two search warrants in Ivanhoe. 

On March 19, 2018 at approximately 1010 hours, Detectives responded to a home located in the 15900 block of Citrus in Ivanhoe to serve a search warrant.  Occupants at this location were temporarily detained and a juvenile suspect was taken into custody without incident.  His identity will remain confidential due to his age.

At 1127 hours, Detectives served a second search warrant at a residence located in the 32400 block of Road 160, in Ivanhoe.  Residents were contacted at this location and also detained.  During the investigation, Detectives located and seized an illegal short barrel shotgun in violation of Penal Code 33210.  Detectives also found approximately five pounds of marijuana.
