On 2-16-2016 at 2230 hours, Deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Pixley Substation conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation.  Upon contact, a passenger fled from the vehicle and fought the deputy in attempt to flee the scene.  The suspect grabbed the deputy and reached for a gun during the apprehension.  The suspect was taken into custody without further incident. He was found to be in possession of a loaded and concealed firearm in a public place with active gang members.  He was also found to be in possession of kief. 

All occupants were taken into custody for charges including: under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, public intoxication and driving on a suspended license.

Arrested: David Rodriguez, 18-year-old male from Earlimart 

           Antonio Rodriguez, 20-year-old male from Earlimart

           Jose Luis Ramirez, 21-year-old male from Earlimart 

           Isidro Morejo-Ibarra, 20-year-old male from Earlimart
