Deputies were dispatched to the Big O Gas and Deli on the 12500 block of Avenue 416 regarding

subjects attempting to cash counterfeit checks. When Deputies arrived, they detained two

suspects identified as having counterfeit checks.

The store manager further advised subjects had cashed other counterfeit checks at the store over the last two days, totaling $3,886.03.

During the investigation, the suspects were also found to be in possession of a controlled

substance. The suspects were arrested and booked into the Adult Pre-Trial Facility.
