On 316-14 in the evening hours, the Tulare County Sheriff's Department was contacted by the California Highway Patrol. Allegations of domestic violence had been reported to them by the victim and made against Tulare Police Chief Jerry Breckinridge, and were then sent on to our department. A Tulare City official was contacted and requested that our agency conduct the investigation.

Jerry Breckinridge was booked on PC 273.5 with a bail amount of $50,000. He has since bailed out.
