On 12/26/16 at 2333 hours, deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Goshen regarding a report of a burglary at this location. Upon arrival, the victim stated unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and stole numerous items while he was away. During that investigation, a report of a prowler led deputies to the suspect who was riding a bicycle in the area.
The male juvenile suspect was found to be in possession of stolen property which led deputies to two additional burglary residences nearby. Further investigation revealed additional stolen property recovered from the suspect’s residence along with a large amount of processed marijuana (approximately 20 pounds). It is believed a second suspect may have been involved.
Suspect(1): 16-year-old male juvenile) / Arrested and booked at JDF
Suspect(2): Unknown Hispanic Male / Still outstanding.
Detectives from the Property Crimes Investigations Unit were called out to the scene and took over the investigation.
