On June 28, 2016,  Deputies arrived to conducted a follow up regarding a prior disturbance which had occurred early in the morning. Upon arrival, Deputies found the home had been vandalized causing approximately $3,000 damage to the interior of the home and vehicle located on the property.

While at the scene, Deputies heard a loud noise coming from an adjacent residence and responded. 
 
As Deputies came around the rear of the home they saw the suspect, identified as Cynthia Slaughter, age 48, from Visalia, vandalizing the interior of the residence. Slaughter was taken into custody on a variety of charges and booked into the Tulare County Jail. Estimated damage to the adjacent residence was $2,500.  This investigation is ongoing.
