On July 1, 2018 at approximately 1400 hours, Deputies responded to an address located within the 1800 block of East Fir Avenue, in Lindsay, for report of a burglary.  During the investigation, Deputies learned that the homeowner had been out of town for approximately two weeks before returning home to discover several items within the home had been stolen; including appliances and televisions.

A family friend, Tyler Watson, had been house sitting while the family was out of town.  

On July 27, 2018, prior to the homeowner returning, the homeowner was contacted by the California Highway Patrol and advised his vehicle was involved in a hit and run traffic accident in which Watson was named the suspect. 

The homeowner was unable to locate Watson upon his return.  Detectives took over the investigation and are seeking information related to the whereabouts of Tyler Watson and/or the location of the property stolen in this case.
