On 07/25/2015 Deputies responded to assist the Fire Department regarding a suspicious person. Upon arrival it was discovered (S) was running in and out of an almond orchard threatening staff. After further investigation witnesses stated (S) was walking in the orchard armed with a black handgun. While speaking with witnesses Deputies observed (S) exit from the orchard and attempted to contact him. (S) immediately ran West into the orchard. After short pursuit (S) was apprehended however during apprehension (S) turned on Deputies and began resisting arrest by fighting. (S) was non-compliant during the entire altercation making threats to Deputies lives. 

(S) was transported and booked at the Pre-Trial booking facility with no further incident.

(S) Rodrigo Ruiz, 25yo male out of Tulare.
