On 01/04/17 at 0530 hours, deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Jack in the Box restaurant in Delano in regards to a robbery in progress. Upon arrival, the victim(s) advised responding deputies/officers that the suspect had initially stolen a farm shop truck at gunpoint from an employee of the farm, then drove the stolen truck to Jack in the Box where he proceeded to attempt an additional robbery of the restaurant utilizing a handgun.

The robbery was unsuccessful and the suspect was apprehended by Delano Police.  The suspect was released to the custody of the Tulare County Sheriff's deputies.

Suspect:  Song Her (32)  5-5, 140 pounds, black and brown. 

Currently in custody at the Adult Pre-Trial Facility.

Detectives from the Property Crimes Division were called out to the scene and took over the investigation.
