On 5-29-16, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 500 block of South Doyle in Porterville regarding a robbery that had just taken place. 

The investigation revealed at approximately 1230 hours, suspect(s) confronted the victim at the victim’s residence.  Suspect(s) demanded money, wallets, cellular phones and the keys to the victim’s vehicle.  The suspect(s) assaulted the victim before taking two jewelry boxes and leaving the scene in an awaiting vehicle. 

The victim was not injured during the incident and did not require medical attention.  Deputies obtained witness statements and collected physical evidence from the crime scene location. 

The suspects were described as:

A Hispanic male adult, mid 20’s with black hair and black mustache

A Hispanic female adult, mid 20’s with long black hair

The suspect vehicle was described as an older model 4-door compact car.  Black or dark primer in color.
