On 8-6-16 at approximately 0850 hours, deputies from the Sheriff's Cutler/Orosi Substation responded to a possible theft of a motorcycle. Upon arrival, the victim advised he was verbally threatened by the suspect, who the victim identified as a Hispanic male adult. The victim was in fear for his life and subsequently gave the motorcycle to the suspect. The suspect fled the scene and was later located and taken into custody.

The suspect was identified as Jose Eleuterio Vasquez, 31. He was transported and booked at the Adult Pre-Trial Facility.
