Tulare County Sheriff’s Department Deputies and Detectives were called to the 800 block of West North Grand Avenue in Porterville to investigate a report of an armed robbery.  Upon arrival, Deputies and Detectives contacted the victim. The victim advised an unknown male subject approached him and demanded money armed with an unknown type of handgun. 

The suspect fled the area with an undetermined amount of money.
