Suspect: Jose Leonardo Aldaz-Napoles, 28, of Orosi

On Tuesday, 10/17/2017 at approximately 1421 hours, Deputies responded to the Subway restaurant in Orosi, located in the 41500 block of Road 128, regarding a report of a robbery.

Upon arrival, Deputies from the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office Orosi Substation were directed towards the suspect by the victim, at which time a foot pursuit of the suspect ensued.  The suspect was apprehended a short time later and was later booked into the Adult Pre-Trial Facility without incident.

Deputies contacted the victim who reported the suspect entered the restaurant and stole money from a tip jar, which was sitting near the front register.  The victim confronted the suspect, at which time the suspect pushed the victim out of the way, in order to flee from the store.
