Tulare County Sheriff’s Deputies and Detectives were called to the Porterville area to investigate a report of a robbery.

Upon arrival, Deputies and Detectives contacted the victim on a dirt road extension of Road 256 and Avenue 120 in an orchard. The victim advised he was traveling eastbound on Avenue 116 on his electric scooter when he was confronted by subjects in a vehicle who motioned him to pull over. 

The victim said he rode into the orchard to attempt to evade the subjects, however he was followed by the suspect vehicle who caught up to him.  The victim was pushed off of his electric scooter and physically assaulted.  The suspects fled the area in a vehicle and took the victim’s scooter.
