On 10-28-16 at approximately 1857 hours, deputies were dispatched to the 15000 block of Water Avenue in Visalia regarding a report of suspicious vehicles. Upon arrival, deputies located one of the suspicious vehicles attempting to leave the area. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and through investigation, deputies located a large amount of marijuana, scales, and ammunition. The driver of the vehicle and the passenger, who had extensive criminal records, were taken into custody without further incident.

The estimated street value of the marijuana was $2,250.
