Charges: Robbery, Assault w/a Deadly Weapon, Gross Negligent Discharge of a Firearm and Use of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony.

On 2-27-15 at 1837 hours Deputies responded to a residence in the 13500 Block of Avenue 104 in Pixley in regard to a robbery.  Upon arrival they contacted the victim who said someone attacked him in his driveway.  During the assault, the victim made an effort to defend himself, but was overpowered and forced to the ground. 

The primary suspect kicked the victim on the head while a second suspect fired several shots with a handgun, but did not strike anything. A motive for the shooting remains unknown.  The suspects fled the scene after taking US currency from the victim.  During the investigation, Deputies located physical evidence, which will hopefully lead to the identity of the suspects.
