Sheriff Boudreaux offers his sincere congratulations to Undersheriff Sigley and Assistant Sheriff Lehner. He wishes them well in their new assignments.

Sheriff Mike Boudreaux is thrilled to announce his appointment of Captain Cheri Lehner to Assistant Sheriff and Assistant Sheriff Tom Sigley to Undersheriff.

Assistant Sheriff Lehner began her career with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office in December 1986 as a Deputy Sheriff Trainee. After graduating from the Tulare/Kings County Basic Police Academy in 1987, she was promoted to Deputy, assigned to the Detentions Division. She was promoted to Sergeant in 1996 and Lieutenant in 2006.

During her tenure with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, she has worked in detentions, investigations, personnel, courts and patrol. In 2014 she was promoted to the rank of Captain and was most recently responsible for the Administrative Support Division.

Undersheriff Sigley began his career with the Tulare County Sheriff's Office in 1998 after graduating from the Tulare/Kings County Police Academy in 1997. His first assignment was at Main Jail. He promoted to Sergeant in 2003, Lieutenant in 2007 and Captain in 2015.

During his tenure with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, he has worked detentions, patrol, professional standards and compliance and investigations. In 2017, he was appointed to the position of Assistant Sheriff, responsible for the Professional Standards, Patrol and Investigations Divisions.
