Sheriff Mike Boudreaux honored five employees Wednesday for going above and beyond the call of duty.
“We honor those employees today who have taken that extra step in service to others,” he said. “We appreciate their hard work.”
The following employees were honored:
- Lt. Harold Liles and Sgt. Bobby Saldana - for implementing a youth sports program in Tulare County, including a very successful free NFL Flag Football League, involving 250 boys and girls last spring.
- Deputy Kyle Stark - for helping a couple from out of the area who were traveling with their disabled son in Three Rivers when their vehicle repeatedly broke down, causing a very difficult situation for the family.
- Sgt. Mark Fricks - for outstanding performance in the Narcotics Unit, handling more than 40 cases in the first six months of his assignment in the unit and assisting with all Marijuana operations and details.
- Cpl. Karyse Sandoval - for leading the team that developed the curriculum for the CORE Academy, which teaches law enforcement skills as it applies to detentions for new correctional deputies.
