Around 9 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2019, TCSO Ag Crimes detectives served a warrant at a home in the 800 block of Spruce Road in Tooleville, just east of Exeter.

They were following up on a series of agricultural-related thefts in the area.

There, detectives found stolen property marked with SmartWater CSI, which is invisible to the naked eye.

One suspect, 18-year-old Juan Castaneda of Exeter, was found at the house with SmartWater on his hands.

He was arrested and booked into the Adult Pre-Trial Facility for Grand Theft. A second possible suspect is being sought for questioning.
