On 12-9-18 Tulare County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Porterville Patrol Station were dispatched to the area of Ave. 192 in Strathmore in regards to the report of an assault and robbery. Upon arrival they were advised Jesse Barron approached the victim and struck him twice causing facial lacerations and contusions. It was also advised Barron removed the victim’s wallet after he had been knocked to the ground.   

Detectives were contacted and ultimately took over the investigation. As a result Detectives located and arrested Jesse Barron for the above listed offenses. As Detectives continued their investigation it was determined the suspect used surveillance methods to stalk the victim prior to attacking him. The victim in this case sustained non-life threatening injuries which were treated at an area hospital.
