On 03-07-2019, Officers with the Stockton Police Department contacted the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office and asked for help finding Rogelio Gonzalez Valencia. Stockton Police said Valencia had an active homicide warrant for vehicular manslaughter and was possibly staying in the Tulare County area.
On 03-08-2019, Detectives with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office CATTCH Unit developed information that he was possibly in the Orosi area. Detectives went to a home in the 12800 block of Ave 416 and found Valencia there. He was taken into custody on his homicide warrant from the Stockton Police Department without incident and booked at the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility.
The County Apprehension Team Tracking Criminals in Hiding (CATTCH) Unit was formed by Sheriff Boudreaux in October 2015 to assist the investigations and patrol divisions of the Sheriff’s Office in finding and apprehending outstanding criminals in hiding. The CATTCH Unit is tasked with the collection of case information, investigation and the ultimate arrest of Tulare County’s most wanted individuals.
