Around 12:30 p.m. on 11-19-19, a TCSO Deputy stopped a car in the area of Gemini and Inyo in Tulare. Inside the car, Deputies found ½ pound of meth, a short-barreled shotgun, ammunition, one pound of marijuana and evidence of drug sales. The driver, 46-year-old Robert Ramirez, was a previously convicted felon.
TCSO Narcotics Detectives searched Ramirez’s home in the 22700 block of Rd 60 in Tulare and found further evidence of drug sales. They also found meth, cocaine, a rifle, more ammunition, the hood to a stolen Camaro, a stolen agricultural fuel trailer and a stolen BMW.
Ramirez has a lengthy rap sheet with the Tulare County Sheriff's Office. During a search of his home in April 2019, Detectives found meth, numerous firearms and two stolen vehicles. Ramirez was booked into jail but later bailed out. In June 2019, Ramirez was involved in a shooting in front of his home. During that investigation, Ramirez was found with a gun. He was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and several other charges. He, again, bailed out of jail.
On 11-19-19, Ramirez was booked into jail for possession of a controlled substance for sales, transportation of a controlled substance, a felon in possession of a firearm, a felon in possession of ammunition, possession of stolen property, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a vehicle with the VIN removed, operation of a chop shop and committing a felony while out on felony bail.
