To bring justice to victims of crime and provide safer communities, Sheriff Mike Boudreaux created the Tulare County Sheriff’s Top 10 Criminals in Hiding and the CATTCH Unit that makes it happen.

CATTCH stands for County Apprehension Team Tracking Criminals in Hiding. It is a specialty unit of the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.

Since the CATTCH Unit was created on Oct. 26, 2015, 19 arrests have been made including suspects wanted for homicide, attempted homicide, narcotics trafficking, assaults, embezzling, identity thefts and lewd acts with a child.

The idea is to identify people who are hiding from law enforcement and devote the resources to track them down. Through its efforts, CATTCH created Tulare County Sheriff’s Top 10 Criminals in Hiding, which changes frequently as criminals are arrested.

To view the current list, go to http://www.tularecounty.ca.gov/sheriff/ and click on the icon for Tulare County Sheriff’s Top 10 Criminals in Hiding, on the right hand side of the screen underneath the Sheriff’s Message.

Sheriff Boudreaux invites residents of Tulare County to view the list frequently and call in with information.

“We could not do our job without the good citizens of our community,” he said.
