On 11-2-17 at approximately 0823 hours, Deputies from Pixley Substation were dispatched to a sexual assault, which took place in the 3000 block of Park Avenue in Alpaugh. Upon arrival, Deputies contacted the victim who reported a person known to her had unlawfully entered her residence through an unlocked window. 

Upon entering, he sexually assaulted her. The victim was able to exit the house with minor injuries.  The suspect fled the scene. 

Detectives responded to the location and later contacted the suspect at his residence in the 5500 block of Knox Road, Alpaugh.  The suspect was positively identified as Julian Marrufo Carrillo, 59 years of age.  He was transported and booked into custody at the Adult Pre-Trial Facility without incident.  His bail is set at $250,000.
